This form is used to produce lists of customers, or search for particular customers when you’ve only got a phone number or email address. You can fill these in completely, or just partly. If you fill in more than one of name, telephone, or email, then the system will look for those that match all.

If you tick the box marked Exact surname, the system won’t find smithson if you type in smith for instance.

You can also limit the length of the search by specifying the From date and To date, which refers to when that person was entered on to the system. Also the From record and To record serve a similar purpose.

Remember, that if you typed in a telephone number as 01234 987654, and you look for 01234987654, the system won’t find it. But you can just put in the 987654 part.
